Specific research using a blog site

The Boston University course Certified Professional Investigator requires that the student perform a number of individual assignments.  In completing some of the requirements of the Internet Research module I found that http://www.bloggapedia.com/blog_search.php?q=crime&x=0&y=0 is a good efficient way to search blogs.  From this example I queried on the word crime.  You can register for free for this site.  There are a multitude of different ways to search on this blog site.  A website similar to bloggapedia but more specific to Private Investigation research is http://www.criminaljusticeusa.com/blog/2009/private-eye-reading-the-top-50-detective-blogs/.   This particular site is interesting in that it claims to have blogs specifically written by PIs.  Check it out!
