Areas of Interest

As an aspiring PI I have thought about my areas of interests and at the top of that list would be unsolved crimes, especially homicides and missing persons.  This link http://www.unlovedcrimes.com/ is a great resource for researching unsolved homicides.
For my research I am also interested in unsolved crimes/homicides in the State of Florida and using http://www.fugitivehunter.org/unsolved.html is a good starting point as it is broken out by state.
http://www.tampagov.net/dept_POLICE/information_resources/Investigations/unsolved_homicides/ this site is specific to Tampa, Florida related unsolved homicides.
It is imperative as an investigator to build an electronic library of searchable data which can be an invaluable asset in research.  Another must have tool is the www.delicious.com a free tool which allows the user to create unique tags and the ability to bookmark electronic data, this tool is invaluable to anyone who uses the Internet frequently.  I wish this tool had been available to me when I was a student, it would have undoubtedly prevented a great deal of aggravation.
There are a multitude of excellent tools available on the Internet and the list grows daily.  In doing my research I came across some new search engines which I had not been aware of previously; culi.com, viewzi.com, rollyo.com are just three of many.
